He also learned how to make the classical guitar under the guidance from Masaki Sakurai. Furthermore, he had studied how to make the classical guitar by visiting several workshops in Spain during his a year and 9 month travel. Now in Japan, he continues making the classical guitar with Spanish traditional making method with advices from Koujiro Nejime and Kaoru Ono. He is currently producing at the rate of around 5 pieces per year.
In 2020, an interview with him was featured in Orfeo Magazine No. 15, published by Camino Verde of France, and he is one of the young artists whose reputation in Japan and abroad is growing even more.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a new 2022 model of Yuichi Shimizu's Hauser I model. In the past few years, his guitars have been made to the highest degree of perfection as replica models, and all of them have been finished to a very high degree of excellence. The Hauser model we have just received is also a very nice one, with the essence of the original firmly in view, with a subtle addition of his acoustic tastes as a Japanese, and with a beauty of construction and stylishness at the same time. The internal construction is based on the Segovia model made by Hermann Hauser I in 1937.
The overall clean acoustics are pleasant, and the toughness of the sound and the unique three-dimensionality of the polyphonic resonance between them can be said to be Hauser's. The body is full-sounding, and the overall warm atmosphere is provided.
The paint of this new model is a candy-colored shellac finish, which adds a Vintage-style flavor to the appearance.
The overall beautiful finish and the exquisiteness of the workmanship are at an extremely high level, and the quality of the craftsmanship of this model is also worthy of special mention.
