[Profile]
Born in 1947, he began making guitars as a teenager, and in 1964, at the age of 17, he became an apprentice in the workshop of Tsunezaburo Kurosawa. 1969, he established his own workshop in Tokorozawa. Since then, he has continued to make guitars with excellent acoustic balance by utilizing the results of his research on Hauser I guitars, to which he has always been devoted.
The most representative of his characteristics and aesthetics are the Hauser models, which always maintain the beauty of their design, lustrous tone, and superb acoustic balance that make them worthy of being called Hauser models.
In terms of cost performance, this brand can be said to be one of the best in Japan.
[Description]
Shumpei Nishino's classic Hauser model No. 35 with 650mm string length in spruce/Indian rosewood spec. 2024 is now in stock. He is a veteran maker with nearly 60 years of production experience, and his brand potential to always maintain high quality is superb. This piece is another example of Hauser's deep respect for tone and construction. It fits beginners and intermediate players without any difficulty. It has a slightly hard, dense, clean sound with a fresh tone. The sound has a well-defined graininess, quick response, balance in chords, and pitch accuracy. The materials used have also been selected for their high quality, making this an excellent value for money instrument in total.
The basic design is of course based on the 'Segovia Model' by Hermann Hauser I. The strings are moderately tensioned, so there is no stress on the left hand and it is easy to play.
