[Profile]
Among the many Spanish flamenco guitar brands, Conde Hermanos is one of the most popular. The brand began in 1919 when Domingo Esteso, who had worked as a craftsman with Santos Hernandez in Manuel Ramirez's workshop, opened a workshop in Gravina, Madrid. Esteso's nephew, Faustino Conde, joined him and his brothers, Mariano and Julio, in this workshop. After Esteso's death, they continued this brand under the label 'Viuda y Sobrinos de Domingo Esteso'. When Esteso's wife passed away, the label was changed to 'Sobrinos de Domingo Esteso/Conde Hermanos' and from this time on, the name Conde Hermanos started to be used as the brand name.
In the 1960s, all the models were redesigned to be unique, and the half-moon cut Media Luna head shape was also adopted as a symbol of high-end models from this time on, dramatically expanding their fame and market share.
Conde Hermanos guitars have been used by many famous flamenco guitarists, including the famous Paco de Lucia, and are still a must-have for flamenco guitar fans today.

[Description]
Conde Hermanos Felipe Workshop A27 made in 2005 is now in stock, a so-called blanca (white) model with cypress back and sides. The head shape is not the famous half-moon shape, but the Esteso design, so it can be said to be positioned in the entry to middle class following the EF series. It is one of the best brands in Spain and is positioned in the middle class. However, even in the middle class, its acoustic and functional qualities are impeccable. Compared to the A25 and A26, which have a strong character, the A27 has a more well-rounded flamenco sound and is easier to play, making it a good all-around guitar. It has the rigidity of a Conde, but it is not too heavy, and it is clear, with good separation of the notes and plenty of volume, making it a perfect middle-class guitar.
There is a repair history of a crack on the bass side of the fingerboard. There are also some minor play marks, dents, and a string strike mark on the bottom of the bridge, but the overall condition is commensurate with the age of the instrument.
