Born in Tokyo in 1932. The second son of Sakazo Nakade (1906-1993), the leader of Japan Vintage. Under the training of his father, he started making violins and guitars at the age of 16, and five years later he became devoted to making guitars. After that, in 1968, he moved to Spain and entered the workshop of Madrid maker Hernandez y Aguado. The influence of his two master craftsmen became decisive for him and clearly directed his own subsequent production philosophy. It is clearly shown in the decoration, structure, and timbral characteristics, and the guitar with his unique personality has gained popularity due to its powerful sound and rich expression.
His guitar, which is a representative of Japanese brands with a Spanish atmosphere, has become a popular item overseas as well as his father Sakazo.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of one Master 60 2019, made by Toshihiko Nakade. This is one of the rare last pieces of work for the brand, which ended its 60-year career shortly after the beginning of the 2020s. The Master 60 is a middle-class piece in its extensive lineup, but everything about it is unwaveringly cohesive in terms of crafting precision, acoustic perfection, and the quality of the materials used. Each note has a solid core and is mellow with just the right amount of depth. There is a natural swelling from the mid-bass to the bass. The overall sound is soft and bright, and the character of this brand is that it can sound both powerful and delicate as needed. It is natural and very comfortable to play.
It is in beautiful condition, with only a few small, shallow scratch marks on the sound board. There is no history of major repairs such as cracks. The entire body is painted in the original cashew finish.
