[Profile]
Taurus is a workshop in Barcelona, Spain, founded in 1964 (closed in 1982). In addition to original products, the company produced OEM products for José Ramírez, and contributed to the popularization of what is now known as the Estudio model. The label is Ramirez's original design, but the brand name is stamped inside the body. From 1967 until 1982, when the workshop was closed, Antonio Picado was the head craftsman at the workshop, and the guitars designed by Ramirez were of high quality and reasonable prices, and gained popularity.
[Description]
We are pleased to announce the arrival of No.59 made in 1967. As a Ramirez OEM brand, this is from the period when Taurus was establishing its production system as the Ramirez market expanded. This piece has the original Taurus label, but the effect of the cedar wood is evident, and the massive sound has a Ramirez-style Madrid School sound. It is a good quality Spanish guitar with a soft sound and a romantic but natural expression.
It has been well played, and there are scratches, dings, and paint cracks all over the body. The back of the neck is scratched by fingernails from playing.
