This concert guitar is the first domestically-produced model to adopt a 'double top construction' for the soundboard.
In addressing the long-standing challenge of 'insufficient volume' in classical guitars, Asturias has taken an innovative approach. By sandwiching a lightweight honeycomb-structured material called NOMEX® between two layers of tonewood, this unique construction achieves both reduced weight and sufficient strength/thickness in the soundboard. Compared to traditional solid tops, this results in greater depth of tone and significantly increased volume.

In addition, the model is characterized by its clear, resonant sound quality and rich sustain.
For enhanced playability, a semi-raised fingerboard has been adopted at the neck joint, dramatically improving access and comfort in higher positions beyond the 12th fret.

This is a classical guitar that expands the instrument’s possibilities in terms of volume, tonal quality, and playability.
