[Profile]
He was born in Tokushima Prefecture in 1940, learned classical guitar playing from Kohgoro Mizobuchi, and joined the Tokushima Guitar Association in 2000, learning guitar playing from Michio Kawatake and at the same time joining the guitar making club. In the same year, he completed his first guitar, which he made himself, and has continued to make guitars consistently ever since, albeit in limited quantities. The guitars are made in the traditional method based on the Torres method, and are finished with shellac for a rustic tone and style. He is also involved in translation, and has co-translated two of the most famous books in classical guitar making, 'Antonio de Torres: Guitar Maker - His Life and Work' by Jose Luis Romanillos and 'Things about the Guitar ' by Jose Ramirez III.

[Description]
Tadao Sato's No.56 spruce-quilted maple model has just arrived. Although the label says 'Classic & Flamenco,' this is a pure classic model. The head, body shape, and internal arrangement of the bars are in accordance with Antonio de Torres. His guitars are characterized by a mellow and dry sound, but the softness of the maple on this instrument is combined with the resonance to create a guitar that is gentle to the ear and has just the right amount of power. The quilted maple used for the back and sides is also of high quality, and the thin shellac coating creates an elegant atmosphere, giving the guitar a deep overall appearance.
There is a 5 cm crack repair on the treble side and a crack repair on the heel of the neck. Other than that, there are almost no scratches and it is in beautiful condition.
