[Profile]
Born in 1976 in Ibaraki. After receiving instruction from his father, Sumio Kurosawa, he went to Spain in 1997 and joined the workshop of Tezanos Perez. He later learned the art of varnishing at Antonio Marin's workshop. He continues to build guitars with a traditional Spanish sound, following the example of Manuel Ramirez and Vicente Camacho. In recent years, he has collaborated with flamenco guitarist Jin Oki on a new model, and he also makes classical models with lattice structures.

[Description]
Dinastia 2012 model made by Tetsuro Kurosawa is now in stock. Dinastia is the top-of-the-line model of this brand, and is made based on the structural concept of Ramirez's Madrid School. The characteristics are most clearly expressed in the internal structure, which shows the influence of Mariano Tesanos and Teodoro Perez, who he studied under in Spain (*The Dinastia model produced by Tetsuro Kurosawa today is completely different, being made in a modern style with lattice bracing).
The Dinastia model has a bright, heavy sound typical of the Madrid School, but it is characterized by a soft, gentle tone rather than a powerful one. Perhaps reflecting a somewhat Japanese temperament, the expression is very calm, with a sense of stability that differs from the flamboyance and colorfulness of the Madrid School.
The sound board has a few minor playing scratches. There is a repair history of a crack near the bridge, but it has been properly treated and is not a problem. This guitar has up to the 20th fret. The entire surface is finished in shellac.
