[Luthier]
Born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1956. He taught himself to make musical instruments, and after opening a workshop in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1985, he devoted himself to the study and production of 19th century guitars.
He mainly produces replica models such as La Prevot, La Cote and Panormo.
He has also researched and announced guitars that have been subjected to original fretting processing by adopting the classical tunes of the 19th century for guitars, and have attracted a great deal of attention from early music players.
In 1988, he moved his workshop to Hyogo prefecture, and now he also produces old musical instruments such as ordinary classical music, renaissance, baroque guitar, and vihuela.
[Instrument information]
'Modern type' model produced by Kiyoto Tanaka. Unlike the literal modern guitar, it is a guitar conceived with a concept unique to him who has been familiar with almost all plucked string instruments including 19th century guitars.
The guitar is carefully painted with shellac and has a color close to amber.Rosetta is a design that makes you feel the design of a 19th century guitar that makes the best use of the grain of rosewood.
The neck is D-shaped and has a compact feel to match a small body.
And oil-soaked cow bone is used for the nut and saddle.
With a dedicated triangular hard case.
