[Luthier Information]
Hiroyuki Iwata is a Japanese luthier known for building guitars primarily based on the Hauser model. His work is defined by careful craftsmanship and reliable acoustic design. While grounded in traditional styles, he is recognized for pursuing a high level of quality that meets the demands of performers.

[Instrument Information]
This is a 2015 Class 1st (Hauser model), built with a 650 mm scale length.

The instrument combines quick response with a sense of depth and weight in the tone, responding faithfully to both left- and right-hand nuances. It offers strong volume, good responsiveness, and satisfying sustain, with an excellent overall balance. True to the Hauser style, it delivers a rich, solid resonance alongside a high level of playability that sensitively reflects the player’s expression. It is also forgiving to the touch, making it easy to control.

Finished in shellac varnish and fitted with Rodgers tuning machines. The neck has a standard profile and is straight, with minimal fret wear. String height is set at 2.8 mm (1st string) and 3.9 mm (6th string), providing a soft tension that enhances ease of play.

Now 9 years since its construction, the guitar remains in clean overall condition with only minor signs of use. There are a few small dents on the top, but none that significantly detract from its appearance. The finish is in good condition, and there is no history of crack repairs.
