Instrument Condition & Description

There are some fine surface scratches beneath the bridge, most likely caused during string changes. These are consistent with normal use and do not detract from the instrument’s overall appearance. A small dent of approximately 3 mm can be found near the heel of the neck.

The neck has a D-shaped profile with a standard thickness, offering a comfortable and familiar feel. The neck remains straight with no signs of warping. Fret wear is minimal, and the instrument is in very good playing condition.

The saddle has been replaced from the original and adjusted to achieve a relatively low string action. There is slightly less than 1 mm of remaining saddle height, and the current setup is already quite low.

Tonally, this guitar is characterized by a calm, refined, and elegant sound. The overall tonal balance is very even, with no individual strings—open strings in particular—standing out unnaturally. Across all positions, the notes blend smoothly, filling the space with a cohesive and well-integrated resonance.

Rather than being overly loud, the instrument delivers a controlled yet expressive voice, excelling especially in pp (very soft) dynamic nuances. Its quiet, mellow tone retains a subtle but essential tension that holds the listener’s attention. This guitar is particularly well suited for players seeking a wide dynamic range toward softer expressions, making it an excellent instrument for nuanced and sensitive musical interpretation.
