[Profile]
Born in Matsumoto, Nagano, Japan in 1966. In 1989, while studying in Mexico, he met a guitar maker in San Miguel, which inspired him to pursue his passion for making guitars. He learned from Sakae Ishii in 1992, and in 1996, he learned from Antonio Marin, and after returning to Japan, he became independent and opened his own workshop in Matsumoto, Japan. After becoming independent, he began to produce using the traditional method of the Granada School, and then went to Europe again to learn in the master class of José Luis Romanillos. Inspired by the works of Torres that he came in contact with on that occasion, he produced the Torres model, which has received high acclaim.
[Description]
We have just received a replica model of a 19th century Romantic guitar made in 2012, which is rare for Nakano. This guitar was probably modeled after the French René François Lacôte's guitar, but with the added rigidity of Nakano's character, and its graceful yet powerful appearance is extremely attractive. The back and sides and neck are made of beautiful flame maple, and the rosette and purfling are black in color. The rosette is decorated with Nakano's specialty, exquisite inlays of white butterfly shells, which contrast vividly with the shiny white body. The shellac finish has an elegant sheen and a sense of freshness that differs from the richness of the Lacôte. It has a hard tone for a romantic guitar, different from the elegance of the original Lacôte. The sound board shows a few play marks, but they do not detract from the appearance. There are no other major repairs. Comes with its own hard case.
