[Profile]
A maker with a workshop in Bouzonville in northeastern France. Born in Germany, he started his apprenticeship as a furniture maker in 1997, as he was not in a position to learn guitar making at that time. As he studied and practiced woodworking, he became more and more certain of his intention and path to guitar making. In 2004, he began training with Kazuo Sato, a highly regarded Japanese craftsman in Germany, where he learned the aesthetics of the brand's craftsmanship. After several years of training with Kazuo Sato, he quickly opened his own workshop and developed his own independent brand.
His guitars, with their elaborate German craftsmanship, beautiful appearance achieved by the choice of excellent materials, and high playability and high transparency in a modern style, have gained a growing reputation among players. He has now moved to France and relocated his workshop, where he continues to produce mainly acoustic and classical guitars, focusing on careful handcraftsmanship.

[Description]
Tino Battiston, No. 4, made in 2006, is a rare arrival for this brand. This is the fourth piece produced under his own label, according to the serial number. The influence of Kazuo Sato, who had taught Battiston until shortly before, was clearly expressed in this model, and Battiston's own aesthetics were already obvious, indicating that this was a period when the individuality of the brand was being established.
The powerful sound of the modern guitar and the vivid, quick tone output are impressive. However, whereas many modern guitars are 'all ringing' and lack atmosphere, Pattiston has achieved a solid and clear German style, an elegant fusion of the traditional and the modern. This German taste, which was not often heard in the sound of his mentor, Kazuo Sato, is a great expression of Patiston's own personality. Other good aspects of modern guitars, such as volume dynamism, responsiveness, and ease of playability, are also present, indicating that the maker already had great talent at this time.
The fingerboard is slightly sloped from the bass side to the treble side, which contributes to the playability of the left hand. The quick response of the sound does not stress the touch of the right hand. There is no major repair history such as cracks. The thinly processed sound board has a slight wave, but this is not a problem for use. If you are looking for a good quality modern type guitar with a low cost, we highly recommend this guitar.
