[Profile]
Born in 1958 in Lille, Belgium. Walter Verreydt is one of Belgium's leading makers and has gained international popularity, especially in Europe. He comes from a family that has produced many professional musicians, and he himself has always had a deep love for music. With excellent woodworking skills in construction, furniture making, and wood carving, he first got a job as a technical educator. In 1985, he built his first guitar, which he learned to make almost entirely on his own, using Bouchet and Fleta guitars as references, but he also made friends with Jose Luis Romanillos and Daniel Friederich, as well as Rolf Eichinger, a German maker living in Granada. He also made the acquaintance of Rolf Eichinger, a German craftsman living in Granada, where he learned more about traditional Spanish construction methods.
His guitars combine a respect for tradition with a flexible attitude toward modernity, and are highly regarded for their clear, crisp acoustics, variety of tones, dynamics of volume, and quick response to changes in expression that meet the needs of the modern concert guitarist. As a specialist in woodworking, he also has an extremely strict eye on the selection of materials, and his choices are primarily based on how well they sound, rather than their appearance. He currently makes them in his workshop in Kessel, Antwerp.

[Description]
This is a guitar made in 2007 by Walter Verreydt. The guitar is made of very high quality materials, as he is very good at selecting good materials. It has the characteristic structure of the French master craftsman Robert Bouchet, whom he admires, and the influence of the Granada master craftsman Antonio Marin. It is very powerful and loud, and the bright and stress-free penetration of the sound is reminiscent of Marin's Granada sound. The finish is all Shellac. The back is made of 3 pieces of Latin American rosewood. There are some scratch marks on the treble side of the sound hole and under the bridge, and there are some friction marks from clothing on the back, but overall it is in good condition. The neck is only slightly warped, but it is at an appropriate level for playing. There are no problems with the frets or tuning machines.
