[Profile]
The finest guitar brand in Germany in the 20th century, and the fourth generation continues to produce guitars in this tradition. It is well known that Hermann Hauser I improved his own guitars based on Miguel Llobet's Torres and Segovia's Manuel Ramirez, and produced the famous model later known as the 'Segovia Model. His achievement was the biggest event in the history of guitar making after Torres's reform of the guitar, and had a great impact on both playing and making guitars in the following years. It has been passed down to the second and third generations, each of whom continues to make guitars with their own distinctive character while maintaining the brand's unique tone and incredible precision.
The Hauser I guitars are now as expensive as Torres guitars, and the 2nd generation guitars also fetch high prices in the vintage guitar market. The 3rd generation continues to refine his craftsmanship and continues to work vigorously with his eldest daughter, Kathrin Hauser.

[Descriotion]
We are pleased to announce the arrival of a Bream model, No.343, made in 1994 by Hermann Hauser III (1958-), who has a workshop in Reisbach, Germany. The base guitar is a 1928 model made by Hauser I and owned by Julian Bream, who used it for concerts in the early stages of his career.
This model was strongly influenced by the Manuel Ramirez-made guitar used by Andres Segovia, with a head shape similar to Manuel's and a smaller body. The Bream model was produced based on this 1928 model.
The tone has a distinctly German character of Hauser rather than Spanish taste, with high density and separation in single notes, transparency of chords, and an excellent sense of balance from low to high notes.
Every note is surprisingly powerful and dignified from its small body, and the tone has sufficient luster and elegance suitable for classical music. It is also a model that matches Japanese tastes in terms of playability, and is recommended for women as well.
There are a few scratches on the sound board, but the back and sides remain in fine condition. There are no cracks or other major repairs.
