Born in Granada, Spain in 1960. At the age of 14, he became an apprentice of his uncle Antonio Marin Montero and entered his uncle's workshop. He started making guitars with his own label in 1984, ten years later. He has since continued to produce in the same workshop as Antonio until now. It is internationally acclaimed as a workshop for producing some of the best Spanish guitar masterpieces.
His work will most orthodoxly fit that image when one speaks of the tone of Granada school. Its timbre is dynamic and delicate, with a sense of clarity and depth. The high degree of perfection as an instrument, such as high work precision, elaborate design, and beautiful finish, is one of the best in Spain. He continues to inspire leading performers in various music genres.

This is an Aura original model. It is a wonderful model that uses the finest wood selected from the workshop stock, using mosaics and labels with the pomegranate motif that symbolizes Granada. It follows the master Antonio's Boucher model, but the sound is sharper than Antonio's, and the hard and transparent sound is wonderful. It combines the essence of Spanish guitar with the requirements of a concert guitar, such as good separation and moderate sustain, rich volume, dynamism and sensitivity.
