[Instrument Information]
This brand, originating from Japan, has been regarded as a standard choice for quality beginner guitars for over 20 years since its inception. From the start, it has emphasized authentic craftsmanship inspired by renowned overseas instruments. In recent years, its high-end models have been supervised by the late Masaki Sakurai, reflecting a dedication to both tone and playability throughout the lineup.
This particular guitar was made as an original model for a certain music store. It features a 640mm scale length, a solid cedar top, and mahogany laminated back and sides. This combination produces a rich, mellow, and natural wooden tone unique to these woods. There is a slight dip (indentation) between the sound hole and the bridge on the top plate, but it does not affect playability at all. Otherwise, the guitar is in generally very good condition. The neck, frets, and other playability-related parts are problem-free. The neck shape is a standard thickness D-shape. The string height is set at 3.2mm for the 1st string and 4.1mm for the 6th string at the 12th fret, which is the original factory setting. However, there is ample saddle adjustment room (2.0 to 3.5mm), allowing you to lower the action to your preference.
This guitar is perfectly suited as a genuine beginner’s instrument or as a second guitar for casual use.
