[Maker Information]
Kimiyoshi Noda was a Japanese luthier who primarily built high-quality classical guitars in Japan during the 1980s. His instruments are known for their meticulous craftsmanship and calm, refined tone. The brand focused on creating guitars that suited the preferences of Japanese players, emphasizing balance, nuance, and playability.

[Instrument Information]
This is a Class C model made in 1985, with a 650 mm scale length.

It features a solid, well-defined voice with a composed and rich resonance. While the overall volume is moderate, the response is excellent and the tonal balance across the strings is very even. The setup allows for a wide dynamic range and forgiving touch, making it comfortable and easy to play. As is typical of Japanese luthiers, the acoustic design is player-oriented and highly refined.

The guitar is finished in lacquer, and it is fitted with tuning machines made by Höfner. The neck has a standard profile and remains straight, with almost no fret wear. The string height is set at 2.5 mm on the 1st string and 3.5 mm on the 6th string. The string tension feels soft, contributing to an easy playing experience.

Now 39 years old, the instrument shows small cosmetic scratches throughout, but no major or conspicuous damage. There is one dent on the treble side near the neck joint on the top. On the back of the neck, there are marks around the 5th and 9th frets, likely from regular playing. There is a repaired crack in the center of the top, which has been properly addressed and does not affect playability. The finish shows weather checking, adding to the character and vintage appeal of the instrument.

A black hard case is included.
