[Profile]
Born in 1941. After working for several guitar makers and craftsmen during his youth, he became independent at the age of 27 and started making guitars under his own label. He has been making guitars for over 50 years at his workshop in the suburbs of Nagoya, Japan, based on his study of the masterpieces of Manuel Ramirez, Hermann Hauser, Jose Luis Romanillos, and others.
[Description]
We are pleased to announce the arrival of No. 20, produced in 1979. It is of high quality in all aspects, including volume, playability, and appearance, and is a good example of Ichiyanagi's sincerity. The head is modeled after Robert Boucher's head, but the internal structure is similar to that of Torres.
The material used for the back and sides has a beautiful grain and seems to be a different kind of wood from the so-called Jacaranda. The sound board has a few scratches on the treble side of the sound hole, but the rest of the board is in good condition.
