[Profile]
Born in Tokyo in 1932. The second son of Sakazo Nakade (1906-1993), the leader of Japan Vintage. Under the training of his father, he started making violins and guitars at the age of 16, and five years later he became devoted to making guitars. After that, in 1968, he moved to Spain and entered the workshop of Madrid maker Hernandez y Aguado. The influence of his two master craftsmen became decisive for him and clearly directed his own subsequent production philosophy. It is clearly shown in the decoration, structure, and timbral characteristics, and the guitar with his unique personality has gained popularity due to its powerful sound and rich expression.
His guitar, which is a representative of Japanese brands with a Spanish atmosphere, has become a popular item overseas as well as his father Sakazo.

[Description]
We are pleased to announce the arrival of Model No. 2000SS made by Toshihiko Nakade in 1975. It was made after his return from Spain, and the model setting was based on the catalog of his father, Sakazo Nakade, but it gained popularity as a middle-class model at the time of its release. It is strongly influenced by Hernandez y Aguado, whom Toshihiko learned directly from. Here, Toshihiko's acoustics have already been perfected, with a strong core and a slightly rounded sound image. The expression is subdued but varied, and his own Spanish sound is firmly in place.
There are some scratches and dings throughout, and the sound board has a 10cm crack and two small cracks, both of which have been properly repaired. The head plate is not an Aguado design, but it is carved, which is rare for this brand. Unlike his usual models (Master series), this model has a delicate, noble, and graceful sound. The strings are moderately tensioned, which contributes to ease of playing.
