kaoru Ono(1954～)is one of the finest luthiers in Japan who for over 30 years now is consistently producing guitars. At first he studied wood technology at the university,and became interested in making guitars.Around 1980,he was apprenticed to Alberto Nejime Ohno. In 2001 he participated in a course of guitarmaking lecture by Jose Luis Romanillos at Siguenza,Spain. And also he met Arcangel Fernandez in Japan and was advised a great deal. So deeply impressed by traditional Spanish guitar style,he explored his own image of sound.

Kaoru Ono's No. 100 Hauser I model, made in 2007, is now in stock.
In addition to his own original model, the Hermann Hauser model is particularly popular among the lineup of the extremely advanced replica series. The model is based on the famous 'Segovia Model' made in 1937 by Hauser I, but Ono has created his own unique Hauser by mixing his own acoustic philosophy with the utmost respect for the essence of the original.
The sound is wonderful, with a pleasant boldness and elasticity that is very Hauser-like. Ono's mastery of the perfect balance between the distribution of the fundamental and the overtones can be said to be his unique skill.
The body is slightly lighter than the current model, and the sound is a little more vivid. The deep coloring of the sound board, which has changed with age, gives it a vintage look, and the subdued design of the rosette and head inlays give it an overall elegance.
There is no repair history, and although there are some playing scratches, the overall condition is maintained in good condition. This is another one of Ono's current high-density Hauser models with a different sound.
