Born in England in 1949. Originally started as a guitar repair and restoration craftsman, he had the opportunity to actually inspect the construction of many famous instruments by M. Ramirez, D. Esteso, Hauser I, Arcángel Fernández, J.L. Romanillos, and others. Since 1991, when he moved his workshop to his current location in North Devon, England, he has limited his work to Torres and Hauser models. Since then, his guitars have been finished with an oil finish, which gives the wood a soft texture and a natural, woody sound that can only be achieved with a thin coating. While the tone is not flamboyant, it is a wonderful piece of work that strips away extraneous elements and aims for perfect congruence with the fingers of the player.
It is also famous as Julian Bream's favorite guitar, and two guitars made in the late 1980s were used for concerts and recordings.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a Kevin Alam Torres model ‛SYLVETTE' made in 2002. This is the model that this maker is most proud of.
The essence of Torres has been extracted with Aram's unique sensitivity and deep insight, and a hint of modernity has been added to it. The unique sound of the Torres wood, richly voiced single notes, and dignified power are well balanced in this model.
The back and sides have a thin oil finish, and the sound board has a thin shellac finish. The materials used are of high quality, and the back and sizes are made of beautiful Indian Rose. In addition, the rosette, purfling, and other design features in brown and beige tones create a delicate and stylish atmosphere.
Due to its rather small body, it looks very compact when held and is easy to play. This model is also recommended for women.
There is no history of repairs such as cracks, etc., but the entire sound board has age-appropriate play marks, dents, etc. The neck has a slight forward bow. The frets are not worn and remain at the proper height.
All guitars made by Aram are individually named, and this model is labeled with the name 'SYLVETTE'.
