[Description]
This is a new 2021 Romanillos model made by Yuichi Shimizu. This model is a standard model along with the Hauser I model. It is the same model as Plan 1 in 'Making a Spanish Guitar' by José Luis Romanillos, and is faithfully based on the original. The elaborate ornamentation, which approaches the precision of the original production, especially the inlaying of the rosette and head, is excellent and shows the best work of this maker.
The sound firmly follows the original aesthetics that passed through Torres and Hauser, and the depth and power of the low to mid tones, the dignified, glossy and penetrating tone of the high notes, and its overall balance make it a wonderful finish for his standard model.
At 635mm, this piece has the playability that only a short scale can offer, and at the same time, it is also satisfying in terms of volume.
