[Profile]
kaoru Ono(1954~)is one of the finest luthiers in Japan who for over 30 years now is consistently producing guitars. At first he studied wood technology at the university, and became interested in making guitars. Around 1980, he was apprenticed to Alberto Nejime Ohno. In 2001 he participated in a course of guitar making lecture by Jose Luis Romanillos at Siguenza, Spain. And also he met Arcangel Fernandez in Japan and was advised a great deal. So deeply impressed by traditional Spanish guitar style, he explored his own image of sound.

Orfeo Magazine No.15 features an interview with Kaoru Ono(Masahiro Tanabe, Alberto Nejime Ohno, Marin Nejime, Yuichi Shimizu, Daisuke Kuriyama)

[Description]
We are pleased to announce the arrival of a new Hauser I model produced by Kaoru Ono in 2022.
Among the models of Boucher, Romanillos, and Torres, this model is the one most in tune with the maker's own aesthetics, and at the same time, it is a work that blends with the original at an extremely high level. The stoically controlled sound and elasticity of Hauser's unique sound, as well as the refined and lustrous high notes, can be fully heard in this new model. As is common with his other models, the smooth balance from the solid bass to the treble, the exquisite separation of chords, and the dignified expression are unparalleled, and this is a work of the highest quality in Japan.

Compared to previous Hauser models, the entire body is slightly lighter, and the tone has the warmth and simplicity of wood. The tuning machine is made by Sloan.
